"Neo Egyptian Stool"
Egyptian Revival inlaid cedar wood stool in the shape of a sacred ibis with an oval seat upholstered in buckskin on stylized wings and legs, made of cedar with inlays of bone, sandalwood and mahogany. The stool was made in India for the English market at the height of Egyptian mania after the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922.
