The twelve curons are identical. They are marked with a double net under the rim and another net at two thirds of their height.
Under each curon, there is a striche, which is a mark left by the assayer who takes a shaving of metal to ensure that the metal is indeed silver.
Each piece is also hallmarked with the swan, the French hallmark for second-hand works in solid silver.
It is probably a work from the end of the 19th century in the style of the 18th century, but may be older, the absence of a hallmark makes the identification uncertain.
The curons are heavy and of very good quality, the walls are thick and regular.
