"Pair Of Monstrances - Reliquaries In Gild Wood, Italy Eighteenth Century"
Pair of Monstrances - Reliquaries in the shape of crater vases, in gilded wood. The central parts carved with rococo decoration in bas relief openwork in the middle forming a heart sheltering below ,protected under glass a small reliquary fragment ("ex ossibus): "S.Fortunati M." and in the other: "S.Sabinae M.", surrounded by trimmings, glassware and small pearls. Italy, from the 18th century. Good condition.
