Work attributed to the Krieger or Monbro house Completely restored The cabinetmaker Antoine Krieger settled in Paris with his brother Nicolas in 1826. He specialized in the production of period furniture. He participated in the London Exhibition of 1852 where he won a second class medal, as well as at the 1855 Exhibition. In 1856, he bequeathed his company to his sons-in-law, who took the name of Cosse-Ragault et Cie. , then in 1860 KRIEGER, RAGAULT & Cie and finally around 1880 Damon et Cie.
