"Madeleine Plantey Woman Painter"
Portrait of a young woman with a jug in the south of France painted outdoors. Madeleine Plantey (1890-1985), pupil of Tony Tollet, paints between Lyon, Avignon and Brittany, mainly painting portraits, still lifes and landscapes and exhibiting regularly at the French artists' fair in Paris or at the Lyon fair . The painting is signed lower right and framed in a silver frame. It measures, without frame, 35x27 cm.
