"A 1st Empire Period (1804 - 1815) Clock."

A 1st Empire period brown patina bronze in shape of ovoid vase. The handles in shape of swan neck, gilt bronze pedestal and ornamentation. White enamelled dial with Roman numerals for hours. Original wire mouvement.
A similar model listed in the Encyclopédie de La Pendule Française by Pierre Kjellberg, p.378.
