Beautiful plate engraved by Lucas VORSTERMAN (1624-1667) after Abraham VAN DIEPENBEECK (1596-1675). This is a watercolor etching measuring 38.5 x 51 cm (at sight) and 58 x 71 cm with its frame. The print is part of a series intended to present the art of training horses ("The new method and invention of training horses" by William CAVENDISH, Duke ot Newcastle).
