The marli is engraved with a beautiful Mavelot, probably "SH"
It is a beautiful work of old-fashioned goldsmithery, entirely mounted with a hammer. The workmanship is of high quality, the dish is heavy and thick.

. Goldsmith's hallmark from Odiot: PR & Cie with an oil lamp
. In full: "Mon Odiot // Prevost & Cie"
This designation and this hallmark were used between 1894 and 1906 when the goldsmith house was formed by Gustave Odiot, Emile Prévost and Paul Edouard Récipon.
