Magnificent gouache representing a street (Voltaire) in Geneva. The cottony and cozy atmosphere is very well rendered with a superb light. Very nice work by a probably Swiss artist that I have not identified. The work is well framed and in perfect condition. On the back, it is inscribed, "old court at rue Voltaire in Geneva on 5-1-1972" AM Petitmaitre. Dimensions at sight, 36 cm x 26.5 cm. With the frame, 54.5 cm x 44.5 cm.
