"Silver Teapot, France Circa 1840"
Circular silver teapot, baluster, the neck is tubular with a protruding and polylobed flared lip. It rests on a polylobed pedestal, the belly swollen with melon sides. The handle is high, in the shape of a cross, equipped with voting booths and a thumb rest. The lid, mounted on a hinge, is domed, it also retains the multi-faceted outline. The socket represents a fruit in full bloom on a corolla of leaves and flowers.
