"Zaramo Sukuma Mask Tanzania With Scalp"
I offer you this rare mask from Tanzania, Zaramo or Sukuma. Very raw in its sculpture, with a galoshe chin and a human scalp (hair and skin) as a hairstyle! Important black patina of use and seniority, note the square attachment holes, which are only found on the oldest masks, 1st half of the 20th century, height 23 cm, aluminum teeth. Mask which is reminiscent of the shaman masks of Tibet, with this raw expressionist force.
