Beautiful gilt bronze inkwell decorated with Volubilis. Two large flowers house the blown glass inkwells, topped with their caps decorated with flowers and leaves, supported by two large heart-shaped leaves. The pen holder part is decorated with leaves as well as buds. The whole is very finely chiselled, bringing out the veins of the branches and accentuated by the matte and shiny gilding. The inkwell is complete and in excellent condition, the gilding has been completely cleaned. It will find its place ideally on your desk or simply as a decorative object.
