Large pear-shaped vase in satin glass paste with floral decoration of pansies in blue and black tones. Signed "Leune" in a cartouche. Verrerie LEUNE (1861-1930) specialist in hot-fixed enamel (France). A beautiful piece of decoration by its volume and its delicate decorative style. In very good general condition, only a chip on the outside of the collar. Leune establishments produce medicinal glassware, porcelain, cups and vases decorated with idyllic and romantic landscapes as well as birds and flowers. The glass objects are painted with hot-fixed enamel. Leune will close its doors after the crisis of 1929.
