Michelsen, Denmark, some also with added stainless steel, and with the designer's monogram; Georg Jensen Denmark Stainless steel, and with the designer's monogram; other items stamped with maker's marks.)
The '660' cutlery was originally designed for use at the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and was first shown at the XI Milan Triennale in 1957 to great acclaim. The set was used in Stanley Kubrick's 1968 science fiction film "A Space Odyssey".
