Pair of polychrome earthenware planters from Gien dating from the second half of the 19th century. Each of the pieces bears the Gien mark corresponding precisely to the period of manufacture located between 1871 and 1875. Continuous decorations inspired by the characters of the Commedia Dell'Arte. Cachepot dimensions: H. 17 cms Inside diameter: 21 cms Outside diameter with rams' heads included: 26 cms Some small chips on the inside reverse located under the heels of the saucers visible on the photo. Saucer diameter. 28.5 cm
