Loulou or German Spitz By Tristan Lacroix "Christian Lacroix oil on panel signed and dated lower right 1896. Tristan Lacroix was born in 1862 in Périgueux in the Dordogne. Animal painter, landscape, still life, sculptor. He participated in the Paris Salon from 1883 to 1895 obtaining an honorable mention in 1883 for painting and in 1886 for sculpture. Bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1889. He very often animates his animal landscapes.
