"Tegha Execution Saber"
This beautiful and rare 'Tegha' execution sword has just been added to the catalogue. It dates from the early 19th century. The blade is marked by the gunsmith and measures 69cm. 9mm thick back to the riccasso, tapering to 5mm and ending in a 'yelman'. The silver-plated tulwar handle is of the Punjabi type and features skillfully applied decorations. Condition is very good with some minimal loss on the silver and a nice patina on the blade.
