"Six Fine Earthenware Plates Called "talking": Popular Songs Choisy Le Roi"
These six fine earthenware plates called "Speaking" relate to popular songs. The bottom of the plate is decorated with the character of the song with on each side the vignettes of the text of the songs. Five plates are intact, one with fels, that of the "little husband" (photo 7). Mark on the back HB & Cie The songs are Cadet Rousselle Fanfan La Tulipe Mr de La Palisse La Mère Michel Le Petit Mari J'ai du Bon Tabac
