"Bronze By Claire Colinet"
Very pretty bronze by Claire (Jeanne Roberte) Colinet from the Art-Deco period on an onyx base. This is the "Andalusian" subject from 1930. Very beautiful proportions for this elegant subject and characteristic of the work of this artist. Claire Colinet (1885-1972) produced most of her work in Paris in the first half of the 20th century, with bronze statues of exotic dancers. This one is in perfect condition, with a beautiful brown patina slightly worn in places, which reveals the beautiful gilding of the bronze.
