"Boki Statue Or Benue Valley, Nigeria"
Statue representing a standing male figure. The arms are folded over the torso and the hands carry something, perhaps cowbells. An abdominal cavity is present and must have contained a magic charge. The round mouth is also hollowed out. The braided hairstyle is very elaborate. Fetish with a strong presence.
Partially eroded and weathered wood, slight traces of red pigment. H: 34 cm
