Louis Joseph Arthur Busière, born in Denain on September 19, 1880 and died in Savigny-sur-Orge on September 24, 1960, was a chisel engraver and lithographer French. A pupil of Léon Bonnat, Félix Bracquemond and Jules Jacquet, he exhibited in 1896 at the Salon des artistes français where he obtained a 1st class medal in 1911 and a medal of honor in 1914, the year he went out of competition. A resident of the French Academy in Rome from 1898 to 19041, in 1904 he received the Rome Prize for engraving.
His works are kept, among others, at the Petit-Palais and the Royal Academy in London.
A street in Denain bears his name.
