(proof).
Slipcase slightly faded, foxing on the parchment paper on the backs of the cardboard folders, small tear without loss at the bottom of the spine, otherwise a very fine copy.
20 color lithographs inset and 14 black lithographs in the text, very loose, unsigned but by Berthommé Saint-André.
Printed in 697 copies, 1 of the 50 leading copies reimposed on Arches laid paper (No. 10) with all the suites printed by hand press on Tonkin paper (after 2 copies on Tonkin paper reserved to the President and Vice-President).
The copy therefore contains a suite in black of the 20 insets with remarks kept in a blue paper sleeve and slipped into the same cardboard sleeve as the text, and a suite of the 14 in-text lithographs on 12 very large fold-out sheets with very important remarks kept in a separate cardboard folder; the 2 shirts are presented in a common case.
