Jean-Antoine Constantin, better known as Constantin d'Aix, born January 20, 1756 in Marseilles and died on January 9, 1844 in Aix-en-Provence,
He is a French painter, pupil of David de Marseille. Director of the Aix-en-Provence drawing school, he is considered one of the fathers of Provençal painting.
