"Important Portal And Gate From The 1900 Period In The Art Nouveau Style"
Important property entrance from the 1900 period in Art Nouveau style, from the offices of the Grande Minoterie Joseph-Milliat, 319 Avenue Berthelot in Lyon. In the upper part, an openwork is forged with a curve and counter-curve pattern inspired by plants in the typical Art Nouveau movement. The gate has been refurbished, 4 mm sheets, forged hinges, lower plinths and beaten changed. All the new parts are removable, fixed by screws with countersunk heads, in order to be able to paint the whole in good and due form. Its twisted wrought iron valet including its fixing arm is included. The section of the uprights is 40 mm squared, the axis of the hinges is at a height of 256 cm. Originally the gate, adjoining the same bill in better original condition, has been partially restored for its lower plinth. Its bronze judas in the form of a Japanese pagoda responds to the decorative interests of the time. Its height is 307 cm for 82 cm wide equipped with a hinge at a height of 206 cm at the axis.
