Yves Brayer, born November 18, 1907 in Versailles and died May 29, 1990 in Suresnes, was a French painter, engraver, illustrator and theater designer. Faithful to the tradition of figurative art, he is one of the masters of the School of Paris. Using a wide variety of techniques, he is the author of an abundant production of landscapes but also large compositions, figures and still lifes.
