Bookcase In Rosewood And Native, Louis XV Period - Eighteenth

Bookcase in rosewood and indigenous dating from the 18th century. It opens with two glass doors whose facades, in native wood, are underlined by small nets of lemon tree. The interior and exterior edges are in rosewood veneer. The central crosspieces are hectic. These doors are equipped with an original functional lock, with authentic bronze entries and rear key. The interior features four height-adjustable shelves on racks. The sides are in two panels, arranged in quatrefoils, with amaranth edges and lemon tree fillets. The uprights with canted sides, in horizontal rosewood veneer, are adorned with small bronze motifs. The front legs, in amaranth and rosewood, are slightly curved. They end in enveloping hooves. The shelves as well as the back, top and bottom of this piece of furniture are made of solid oak.
