"Maurice Esnault Landscape"
Landscape with individual houses that evokes film or theater sets from the 1930s by Maurice Esnault (1854-1940). I have found nothing on this painter, except that he was born in Sarthe in Marolles les Bruaux and that his career as a painter must have been concentrated during the 1930s. The painting is signed lower left and is sold unframed
