"Montjoye Art Nouveau Vase 1900"
Large vase from the Art Nouveau period around 1900 signed under the base of the gilded escutcheon MONTJOYE (Crystallerie de Saint Denis by François-Théodore LEGRAS 1839-1916) Proof in blown glass in a frustoconical shape with a bulbous foot presenting a rich enamel decoration in strong gold and silver relief enhanced with polychromy set against an acid-frosted background depicting poppy flowers and buds punctuated by a network of branches forming elegant geometric patterns in the Jungendstil spirit. Very good condition and beautiful gilding and silvering, dimensions: 34.4 cm high X 11.5 cm in diameter.
