Bronze Clock With Cherubs Louis XV Style, XIXth Century. flag

Object description :

"Bronze Clock With Cherubs Louis XV Style, XIXth Century."
Beautiful gilt bronze clock, decorated with moving and intertwined foliage. On each side of the movement, two winged cherubs with different attitudes seem to observe each other. The circumference of the bronze dial is made up of Roman numerals on enameled escutcheons. The beautifully decorated back side can be placed in front of a mirror. The movement has not been overhauled by a watchmaker but it works. Good condition, small traces of wear on the gilding.
