Italian majolica with a slightly hemmed neck and curved body decorated in polychrome with flowers on a blue background and an oval medallion with a radiating yellow rim depicting Saint Benedict. The abbot wears a white collar, black cape, beard and halo. He holds a crozier in his right hand and, in the other, the book he wrote: the Rule of Saint Benedict.
