"Urban Bourgeois: Portrait Of A Little Girl"
In the 1880s, the publication of the illustrated catalog of the SAF required artists to send a drawing of the painting they wanted to exhibit, so that an engraver could transfer this drawing to the catalog. The drawing presented is autograph executed by the painter from his painting. Léon Pierre Urbain Bourgeois, pupil of Cornu, Flandrin and Cabanel, 2nd Prix de Rome in 1863, 1st accessit to the Prix de Rome in 1866, exhibited at the Salon in 1865 until 1904, especially a portrait painter.
