"Georges Hervy: Portrait Of 2 Sisters, Drawing"
In the 1880s, the publication of the illustrated catalog of the SAF required artists to send a drawing of the painting they wanted to exhibit, so that an engraver could transfer this drawing to the catalog. The drawing presented is autograph executed by the painter from his painting. Georges Hervy, pupil of Houry and H. Lehmann, debuted at the Salon of 1876 The drawing is signed at the top left and dated 1881, annotated on the lower margin: Portrait of Mesdemoiselles M. and T. M Table of 1m x 0.81m
