Superb Pair Of Cloisonne Enamel Vases Silver Japan Meiji Period (1868-1912)

Superb pair of Japanese vases with long necks in finely cloisonné enamels, each of them decorated with two large reserves on a turquoise blue background with lush vegetation. Decor of birds perched in flowering trees for some, others in full flight with insects and butterflies. Along the collar, around the reserves and the base are decorated with geometric patterns. Each reserve has a different decor (4 different faces). Magnificent pheasant and pheasant hen! Entirely silver cloisonné decor on a superb turquoise background!
