Chest and percussion pistol with 2 round superimposed barrels, circa 1830-1840, 19th century. English pistol, BIRMINGHAM hallmarks, on the chest and barrels. 40 caliber cannon to the pound. Bronze chest decorated with floral scrolls bearing hallmark and number 3 ready primers and in front of the trigger guard. 2 juxtaposed checkered crest hammers, double trigger under trigger guard engraved with floral pattern.
