Old cane, was made of wood, pommel in silvered bronze, grip ring in English silver bearing a hallmark with a passing lion, the letter date a with the truncated corners corresponding to 1896. The pommel represents an elephant's head with a curved trunk, wearing on the top of the head a cabochon amethyst, the eyes being either ruby or garnet. Good general condition, slight lack of silvering below and at the level of the winding of the trunk, the barrel has signs of use and varnish jumps. Dimensions: cane length 91.5 cm, pommel: 5.7 x 7.7 x 2.8 cm.
