"Christ Of Resurrection XVIth Century"
Bust of Christ of Resurrection in polychrome and gilded wood. Sixteenth century. The power of the bust and the general delicacy of the work place this sculpture in the French or Italian Renaissance. Strong eye presence. Note two missing fingers: thumb right hand and little finger left hand. Some restorations (one finger re-glued. Right arm re-glued but perhaps original) Lack of polychromy and gilding. Cusson traces but inactive. See photos 41cm high X 26cm wide x 14cm deep
