Large Crucifix (staurotheque cross) in boxwood. The finely carved body of Christ, model with three nails. Provenance: Altar Cross, Germany from the end of the 17th century. Resting on a rectangular base flanked by a rockery on two sides, sheltering in the hollow in the middle of the Reliquaries (the real highlight), accompanied by a document / authentic, a Crown of Thorns, two small sachets (the contents? not visible), decorated with a cross embroidered in gold thread surrounded by trimmings and beads (/Sister's work). Beautiful authentic set from the end of the 17th century. Origin: Germany. Good condition (slightly restored)
