Alexandre Blanchard Born in Paris in 1851. In 1880 he graduated in Grammar. In 1886, he married Louise Apolline Laforcade in Paris, from a family of scholars from Douai (father a high school teacher, uncle a bookseller, etc.). In 1906 and 1911, the family lived at 45 rue Cozette in Amiens, they had three children, the two eldest of whom were born in Amiens. Blanchard was active in various Amiens intellectual societies, the period press allowing us to regularly find his name in the assemblies in question.
