"Ceramic Covered Pot By Paul Beyer (1873-1945)"
Ceramist, master glassmaker and coppersmith, settled in Lyon from 1914, very noticed during exhibitions at the Salon d'Automne and Salon des artistes décorateurs. Around 1930 his success allowed him to participate in an internship at the Sèvres factory organized by Louis Delachenal. In 1942, Georges-Henri Rivière, head of Popular Arts and Traditions, encouraged the artist to work at La Borne to revive the village of potters. A great character who influenced all modern ceramics.
