Bronze subject representing "Tacite's childhood" by Eugène-Antoine AIZELIN, medal patina, inscription F BARBEDIENNE founder Paris and Collas reduction stamp.

In good condition, unsigned bronze but referenced in Florence Rionnet's book "Les bronzes Barbedienne" on page 243 (photo) as well as in Pierre Kjellberg's book "Les bronzes du XIXème siècle" on page 37.
