"Pair Of Ewers, Louis Majorelle And Victor Saglier, Art Nouveau, Paris, Ca. 1900"
Pair of beautiful ewers made in the famous factory of Victor Saglier in Paris. The glass inserts are sheathed with metal fittings, with very organic floral ornaments. The set was designed by the eminent designer of the Art Nouveau era Louis Majorelle. Majorelle had furniture and ironwork workshops, where furniture, fittings and lamps were made, while his goldsmith and haberdashery creations were made by the goldsmith house of Victor Saglier, with whom Majorelle collaborated in the first years of the 20th century. The last photograph shows a catalog of products dating from 1900-1903, the carafe model visible in the third position in the upper right corner.
