Dimensions: 37 x 31 cm. --- Charles Fernand de Condamy c.1855-1913 French painter of sports subjects, genre scenes, portraits, animals, gouache painter, watercolourist. He was a pupil of Barrias. He specialized in the representation of dogs which he knows how to render the expression of tenderness. He is the author of the famous poster: The Voice of his Master. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1878 to 1881.
