Bolster representing a Nubian in carved gilded and polychrome Venice XIX th century. The black lacquered Nubian is represented on one knee resting on the ground, the right arm supporting the platform of the harness. He is dressed in a golden drape adorned with flowers and wears a delicately sculpted headgear with golden feathers. Original gold leaf gilding and polychromy in good condition. Venetian work from the second half of the 19th century.
