Ferdinand Edouard Ernest Mifliez (1865-1922), known as Misti, was a French poster artist and lithographer from the early 20th century.

He was an important Art Nouveau artist and one of the masters of the poster alongside Mucha. Far from his standards filled with softness and lightness, he presents us here with an intimate, raw work, rich with an aura that few possess. This young Breton woman with Landivisiau's headdress, holding a prayer book in her hands in the half-light of a church, plunges those who look at it into deep introspection. His eyes impose silence and meditation. With his experience as an illustrator, Misti appears in this portrait as a genius of light, sublimated by perfectly executed sfumato and chiaroscuro.
