Pierre RABON (1619 - 1684) is a French painter, member of the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture which he joined in 1660. He is renowned for having produced many equestrian portraits of the King, notably the Portrait of Louis XIV in horse preserved in the museum of the Charterhouse of Douai.
