"Art Deco Double Desk In Oak Flamed Mahogany Veneer"
A large double-sided desk to work opposite... From the 1930s, typically art deco... Note that this kind of desk is rare... We also have the model bench for sale... It is in oak with a flamed mahogany veneer from South America... The veneer has marquetry threads surrounding it... All the interior and exterior faces are on the same principle of veneer and marquetry. Cabinetmaker certainly TOULOUSAIN - FRANCE The keyholes, the handles and the base are in unpolished sandblasted bronze... The keys are missing... There are still switches that were to be used as a bell... We had it sandblasted to remove the varnish from original... (varnish too damaged) Then just tinted... It consists of two boxes and a one-piece top... On one side there are drawers of similar heights... And on the other of the doors where inside there are sliding filing cabinets... They are all with the same length which is equivalent to half of the worktop... All the parts are shown in dovetails. .. A nice work of cabinetmaker...
