Magnificent delicately carved gilt bronze sconces dating from the Empire. Each of these sconces is depicted with a beautiful angel with outstretched wings seeming to spring from a wreath of flowers. This one maintains with his haughty head and his hands, a large circle from which radiate three arms of light. Each candle holder is made of an imperial eagle standing with outstretched wings on an egg. The eagles support the sockets on their heads.
