"Pair Of Louis XVI Style Torcheres In Golden Wood."
This pair of torchieres in gilded wood and rechampi in the Louis XVI style presents a sculpture of good quality. They rest on four feet cut into volutes carved with acanthus leaves with reserves painted in lemon yellow. The fluted barrel carved with ears of wheat rests on a dice decorated with daisies, it is surmounted by a gadrooned top supported by four acanthus leaves.
