Superb and extremely rare carafe in smoked and faceted glass signed Emile Gallé cross of Lorraine in Nancy (circa 1880-1890) Decor n°13 (on stopper and carafe) representing vine leaves in bloom and bunches of grapes. Remarkable workmanship of great delicacy: multiple facets, moving swirls, ribbed handle, two-tone smoked glass, work on the shape of the stopper... Impeccable condition Rare item for sale in this condition. Really unusual decor. Height 27.5cm without cap 35cm with cap Base 11cm
