Auguste Jean, born January 19, 1829 in Paris and died November 3, 1896 in Vierzon, was a French ceramist and glassmaker. He was one of the actors in the revival of French earthenware in the middle of the 19th century alongside Joseph Devers, Charles-Jean Avisseau, Georges Pull, Eugène Rousseau and Théodore Deck.
